I have been meaning to try pickled eggs for AGES now and I'm so glad that PKG started making these. Everything they make is high quality and these are no exception. I love the salt and vinegar, I love the zesty garlic, and I love the red hot. My only suggestion: make a red hot garlic so I can have the best of both worlds! My only complaint: the spicy isn't spicy enough but honestly, I totally understand. I LOVE super spicy food and by the time it's too hot for me it's waaaaayy too spicy for everyone else. But if PKG ever makes a Stupid Hot version of the pickled foods I'm gonna be all over that immediately.
I DID like the Polish sausages but honestly, I'm not THAT big of a pickled Polish sausage fan. They were high quality but the next time I order, I'm probably just going to get more pickled eggs and not the whole variety pack. I only got the variety pack because 1) of course I wanted to try everything at least once (I've tried every PKG product so far except the crumbs. I have them I just haven't tried them yet) and 2) I was able to use the introductory 10% off coupon (I think it was PICKLETIME) which has probably expired by now.
Full disclosure, I am a vinegar FIEND. My favorite flavor PKG rinds are salt and vinegar. Salt and vinegar pork rinds, salt and vinegar potato chips (which I no longer eat because I do keto), salt and vinegar almonds, I love it all. I love the flavor that bites you back on the way down. So if that's not your thing, I get it. I feel like the Polish sausages weren't as tart as the eggs so maybe that's why I like the eggs more.
One final note now that I'm thinking of it: the zesty garlic eggs have a bit of a yellow tint to them because of the garlic and you can see when you bite into them how far the flavor is penetrating into the egg white which is awesome.
And PKG, if you ever need a test subject for new flavors, I volunteer!
